Your notebooks, on your phone.

BrewLM runs in your phone’s browser at app.brewlm.com. Your notebooks come from your computer through BrewLM Sync, end-to-end encrypted, and they’re there even when your computer is off.

Add it to your Home Screen

Before you start: turn on Sync in BrewLM on your computer, under Settings → Sync. It’s free for 14 days, then from $40 a year (see plans). The phone signs in to the same account.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open app.brewlm.com in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow).
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
  4. Open BrewLM from your Home Screen. It opens full screen, like an app.

Android

  1. Open app.brewlm.com in Chrome.
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu in the top corner.
  3. Choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
  4. Open BrewLM from your Home Screen or app drawer.

Then sign in and unlock

In BrewLM, go to Settings → Sync and sign in with the email you use on your computer. Then unlock your library with your sync password, or with a one-time code: on your computer, choose Add a device and type the code it shows.

Good to know

Why add it to the Home Screen?

It opens full screen and, on iPhone, Safari keeps its data. Websites you only visit in Safari can have their stored data cleared after a while; apps on your Home Screen don’t.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Your notebooks are stored on the phone, and the app opens without a connection. Changes sync the next time you’re online. Chatting and making study material need a connection to your AI provider.

Will it fill up my phone?

Your notes and sources come down right away, and so do pictures. Audio overviews, videos and PDFs download the first time you open them, then stay on the phone.

Which AI does it use?

The same as your computer: your API keys sync with your library, encrypted like everything else. Local models such as Ollama run on your computer, so on the phone BrewLM uses a cloud provider you have a key for.

Is my data private?

Everything is encrypted on your devices before it’s uploaded. The sync server only stores data it can’t read, and your sync password never leaves your devices. The details are in our terms and privacy page.
